"I honestly don't know where to begin in describing our incredible experience with Erin and Jonathan. As we were travelling from the UK to be married in NYC, we had no recommendations to base our decisions on, so, it felt like fate that I came across Kemp Collective on Instagram, saw their photography style was exactly what we were looking for AND saw they travelled for weddings. It was clear pretty much straight away after emailing with them that we wanted them as part of our wedding day; they have been the most helpful, professional, supportive, proactive and just wonderful people we could have hoped for. After two reschedules (thank you pandemic) we finally got married in May this year and by this point, it really felt like we were meeting up with friends when we met them. The day had changed from a 30-people wedding to an elopement, which mean we spent the day with Erin and Jonathan running around NYC and simply having fun. With an elopement, it made the photo's even more important to show family and friends and I truly don't believe anybody else would have captured the day more perfectly. The hardest bit of the whole experience has been trying to cut down the amount of pictures we have printed! I would recommend Kemp Collective in a heartbeat and could just go on forever on how incredible they've been through everything.”

"Wow. Where do we even begin? When choosing a wedding photographer, it was important for us to find someone who could capture the natural essence of who we were as a couple. In looking through all of Erin and Jonathan's previous shoots, it was very clear that they were able to capture those raw, organic moments with the couples and their families. Both Erin and Jonathan exude kindness and light, transferring that instantly to their subjects to create an environment that is so comfortable and truly lets your love as a couple shine through. "All you want to do is bottle the happiness that you feel on your wedding day, and the photos that Erin and Jonathan took did just that! We had rain that messed with a few plans, but they quickly and calmly adjusted and found great spots for us to do our first look and portraits. Looking back at the photos, we don’t even remember posing, we just remember being in love and happy and somehow having that moment captured, they were all so natural (and we did not expect having so many photos taken to feel that way!). The cherry on top was the incredible turnaround. We were able to see a sneak peek a few days after, and then a full gallery within a month. “We were so lucky to work with Erin and Jonathan for our December wedding at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club! They instantly felt like old friends the first time we met and, in our case, even happened to be our actual neighbors. They both are extremely talented photographers and great humans! We are obsessed with their editing style and will cherish our wedding photos forever. As the bride, I was nervous about staying on schedule on the wedding day. We were starting to run behind due to some delays getting ready but before I even realized it, Erin had us back on track with plenty of time to spare. I was also amazed that my husband and I were able to spend time at our cocktail hour. Not doing a first look meant taking portraits during cocktail hour, but because of the way Erin and Jonathan so naturally work together, we were able to have a few minutes alone to soak in the day and still make it to cocktail hour to see guests! "We came across Erin and Jonathan on our venue’s website, and after seeing those few pictures, we knew we needed to have them as our photographers. Erin was so quick and responsive when exchanging emails, and she even worked with us to create a custom package for our day. The only hesitation was that we didn’t know Erin or Jonathan at all, but after our first few exchanges of emails where Erin helped us out, we knew there was nothing to worry about. Once we had our engagement shoot at met them both for the first time, any bit of nerves went out the door. Both were so friendly and just genuinely nice people, and we could tell that after the first five minutes. For two people that never have been photographed, Erin and Jonathan eased us in and were able to make us as comfortable as could be. After a very quick turnaround, we were given our first look at some of the photos and were just blown away by what they were able to capture. Fast forward to our wedding day, we gave Erin and Jonathan multiple timelines and changes all until the night before and they were so accommodating and flexible. They worked great with our videographer and all the other moving pieces throughout the day. We didn’t give them any type of direction with photos and shots because they had our trust 100%, and they absolutely delivered.
